Rosfloc PV is an effective stabilizer and water-based drilling fluid loss reducing agent. Rosfloc PV provides bore hole stability, drilling mud stability, keeping water loss on a low level and enables control of rheology of drill fluid.

Application

Rosfloc PV provides bore hole stability, drilling mud stability, minimizes filtrate invasion into potentially productive horizons, enable control of rheology of solutio. Rosfloc PV is added directly into bentonitic dispersion or as a water solution. Dosing rate of Rosfloc PV ranges from 2 to 4 kg/m3 depending on the drill fluid properties.

Physical properties

Low-viscosity emulsion, from white to beige colour.

  • Density, kg/m3: 1020 — 1060
  • Solubility: water soluble
  • рН 1 % of water solution: 8.0 — 9.0
  • Congelation temperature: minus 45°С

Chemical properties

Low molecular weight sodium polyacrylate.

Packaging

Rosfloc PV is supplied in plastic cans or metal drums as agreed with the customer.

Safety requirements

According to acute toxicological characteristics, Rosfloc PV refers to the 4th class of hazard – low-hazard chemical substances as per GOST standard 12.1.007-76. It poses no hazard of acute inhalation intoxication. In case of contact it irritates conjunctiva and skin cover. Rosfloc PV is fire-flame-proof.
